GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION: There are four truths God wants you to know so that you may know you have eternal life. 1. YOUR NEED. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Romans 3: 10,11. But we are all as unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Isaiah 64:6 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 2. YOUR HELPLESSNESS. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12 3. GOD'S PROVISION FOR YOUR NEED. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6. For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. II Corinthians 5:21 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. I Peter 3:18 4. GOD'S PROMISE TO MEET YOUR NEED. (Jesus said), And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:28 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6 Wherefore he (Christ) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 (God) is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Jude 24 CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARD SIN Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19 PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31 MAKE YOUR DECISION TODAY That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10: 9,10 If you would like to have the assurance of eternal life, then right now in your own words talk to God and tell him the decision that you have made that you believe you are a sinner, that you believe Jesus Christ died for those sins and that if you confess with your mouth Jesus Christ and believe in your heart--you will be saved.
